Hi everyone, I realize that many people (including myself) paid Tesla for autopilot capabilities. But shouldn't Tesla be paying us to test FSD beta instead of the other way around?

Why, Tesla has 160k people volunteering and a chomping at the bit waiting list of many more. Fiduciary responsibility dictates you don't spend money on the things that can be had for free or at a lower cost. Would you go to a store and insist on paying more money than the asking price because you felt like it was too low of a price?
