"Slipping" on regen

over the last 2 days, my "stealth" P3D has started to exhibit an odd behavior. On regen, it's starting to feel like the rear tires are slipping. Except they aren't. It's a very similar behavior as to what it felt like when the rear tires were slipping in the snow just before traction control would step in. The difference is that it's 70 degrees and the roads are clear. The car tracks straight as an arrow and my tires are new, so my sense is that the, "slipping," is coming from the drivetrain.

Has anyone experienced this before?

If you can reliably replicate this and have checked your tires, then it's worth a service request in case there's any mounts or motor components going bad. I only feel slip in the rear if coming to stop over painted "STOP" signage on a downhill - I live in SF.
