Slow LTE speeds

Does anyone else suffer from poor LTE speeds, music/tunein doesn't play or is extremely slow to browse. It even dropped its LTE connection sometimes

It has been up and down. It was unusable on a trip down to Portsmouth a few weeks ago. I barely get more than 2 bars on our MS70D on a good day. But it has been OK in recent days. I believe it uses the O2 network although someone else said that new cars have a network independent sim.
