Software updates appear to change nothing

In recent weeks I have received at least 3 software updates for my 2018 Model S. The verbiage describing what changed has been identical after each update and the summary page showing the previous updates has not changed either.

I just installed 2020.12.1 today and again it says it has improvements for Bluetooth and improvements for Voice Commands. The description of what is changed is unchanged from the previous 2 updates. I see no message, on either my Tesla App or on the screen in the car saying the update was unsuccessful so I must assume everything updated successfully.

Does anyone know what is going on to cause this?

You are new here. This is normal. We nearly always only see different update notes when there is a significant version update, not these minor maintenance updates. Like it or now, that's the way its always been.
