Twist my arm.... 
This is my latest; as I was composing it I was wondering from what recesses I was dragging up its Duh Duh DUH drone...to my horror I finally realized it was that kindergarten tune that even as a jaded 1st grader I recalled as sappy pap, to be foisted upon youths only by the most treacly of teachers: "If You're Happy Clap Your Hands". THIS version, though, is what yourz allz kidz would be gleefully singing if they ever were lucky enough to go to summer camp with us -
And without further intro:
To Be A Pirate!
Oh, I wish I were a pirate brave and bold! (Arrgh! Arrgh!)
Yes, I wish I were a pirate brave and bold! (Arrgh! Arrgh!)
I would pillage burn and plunder
To the roar of cannon thunder
And I would be hanged and never would grow old! (Oh no!)
Oh, I wish I were a pirate brave and bold! (Arrgh! Arrgh!)
Yes, I wish I were a pirate brave and bold! (Arrgh! Arrgh!)
Oh, but if I were a py-rate...
On the gibbet I would gy-rate.
That's a fine detail rarely ever told. (Oh no!)
Oh, I wish I were a pirate on the sea! (Arrgh! Arrgh!)
Yes, I wish I were a pirate on the sea! (Arrgh! Arrgh!)
But every pirate has his Cap'n....
And if he ever caught me nappin'...
I would not be on but underneath the sea! (Oh no!)
Oh, I wish I were a brave stout-hearted pirate! (Arrgh! Arrgh!)
For then I'd get to live on yummy Pirate Diet! (Yum! Yum!)
So just what is Pirate Diet?
It is great! You ought to try it:
We take squid eyes mixed with oyster guts and fry it. (Yuck! Yuck!)
Oh, I wish I were a pirate stout and tough! (Arrgh! Arrgh!)
Yes, I wish I were a pirate stout and tough! (Arrgh! Arrgh!)
But when a pirate's luck runs out...
His guts and eyes are then plucked out...
By every buzzard, raven, rook and chough. (Oh no! Yuck! Yuck!)
