A SpaceX F9 will launch NASA's PACE: Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem is a 1.7 tonne, US$800 million craft that will orbit at 676 km (420 mi) altitude. It will include the Ocean Color Imager intended to study phytoplankton in the ocean, and two polarimeters for studying properties of clouds, aerosols and the ocean.
