Yeah, Soyuz and Dragon are the only two used to *return* things from the ISS. The others that launch, if I am not mistaken, all just get filled with trash and burn up on re-entry. That was why the early dragon returns they were complaining about water finding its way inside the capsule upon water landing, because it was potentially going to ruin some of the experiment data they were trying to get.
 
No, because garbage they jettison in expendable pods that burn up on reentry. You only gentle land something you want to keep.

What's the difference between garbage and trash?
