Supercharger - Springfield, MO - North Beaver Road

A recent Twitter post about the long lines at the existing Springfield, MO Supercharger got me exploring the supercharge.info map. There’s a permit for 16 stalls at the Buc-ee’s station that’s under construction. It appears the Buc-ee’s is scheduled to open in December.

Is anyone available to drive by and see if there are any signs of Supercharger construction? The stalls will be on the west side of the parking lot.

Ive heard that they have not been installed yet. Per this drone video they are not currently located where the site plans said they would be (West Side of Buc-ee's).

Thanks for posting the drone video. That clearly shows that construction on the Superchargers has not started.

I was just told that there are Superchargers at the Bucees but not turned on. Can anyone go and confirm?

I wasn’t sure where else to post this, the original supercharger location in Springfield at 3050 north kentwood has had 2, 250kw chargers added to the original 8, 150kw stalls. There’s a cone blocking off the 250kw chargers but they do show up in the app and the car.

Zero sign of any installation as of 12/20 (my last stop at Buc-ee’s). Not at all apparent where it might go; maybe over on the northeast corner of the lot where the incoming power drop is?

Per MarcoRP it looks like the Buc-ee's Springfield location is still happening and that construction may start soon.

Can the supercharge.info editors fix the site name and the link for "gmap"?

It currently says "N Beaver Blvd" and "... 3284 North Beaver Blvd ...", respectively, which does not exist.
(1) please change "Blvd" to "Rd" and google maps will ignore the "North".
(2) you can ditch the "North", which was apparently left over from when this was N Mulroy Rd.

No clout required. In most cities, all you need to do is file a request and if no one challenges, it gets changed.
