When I took delivery of my car a few weeks ago, both front brake calipers had some white streaks running down them and were generally just very dirty (or so I thought).
After a couple attempts at cleaning them, it appears they are stained almost as if someone used a harsh cleaner on them during delivery prep or possibly brake fluid at the factory damaged the finish. Both the driver and passenger front calipers have the same damage.
In comparison, both rear calipers are immaculate.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
This is at least the 15th item on my list to now have possibly corrected during my first service visit. It's funny to listen to the service center tell you they really feel like they've rounded the corner in initial QC and production quality with the Model 3 coming soon.
