steering wheel adjustment fail

Not a big deal but annoying the wheel goes up and down and out but not in.
The in button brings it out and the out button does not do anything. weird.
Luckily if I reset it goes back to default setting, other wise I would br driving with the wheel in my chest!

As the ‘in’ and ‘out’ button is the steering wheel scrollwheel, and is used for other purposes, have you tried adjusting volume/changing the music track, etc.? Since you say the column will return to a default position, it sounds like a control fault rather than an adjustment mechanism fault.
