Time for yet another proprietary battery thread that will change the world and promises everything.
StoreDot recently demoed and announced a new battery suitable for portable devices and EVs that will:
- increase energy density
- increase longevity
- inexpensive
- safer
- dramatically increase power density, claiming full recharge in 5 minutes

They say three years to commercial use. Please use this thread to post any NEW INFORMATION. We don't need 20 posts on how this is just a battery flavor of the week and/or how stupid Tesla was to build the gigafactory. We all know that these breakthroughs are announced all the time and they never seem to pan out.
