My new transponder doesn’t seem to read no matter where I hold it.

I find that if I hold the gear shifter at the first stop for maybe a half second, then go to the second stop it works every time. If I just blow through the first stop, then I have to do it twice. If it goes into neutral you are waiting too long. Takes a little practice to get it just right...

I had my MPP coilovers and camber/toe arms installed by Griffin Motorwerk in Berkeley. They also did the alignment in-house. I’ve got about 1k miles on mine and I really like them. Only issue is they aren’t south as you would prefer.

Great idea, but isn’t the amount of traffic going to influence the results heavily? That has been my experience—as the amount of traffic increases so does the number of mistakes. Can you factor that in somehow?

Gator Rican I would be careful about assuming that wider stickier tires aren’t going to affect the range much. Others have reported reductions of up to 30% with more aggressive wheels and tires.

Mountain Pass says stock ride height is 155mm front /150mm rear. So roughly lowering it by 30mm or 1.2”. If the camber adjustment is going to be a problem, then it is going to be a problem on both front and rear. In that case I would want adjustable camber arms for both, right?

Thanks for the info. If my goals for the comfort coilovers are to keep/improve comfort while lowering the ride height to 115mm - 120mm, then do you think I would need any of the control arms? I will never track the car.

If you go to the MPP website page that describes the comfort coilovers (MPP Model 3 Comfort Coilovers AWD/Performance PRE-ORDER ) you will find the information that you seek. They talk about it in terms of ground clearance in mm. Stock is 155mm front and 150mm rear. They recommend 110mm front...

I find it interesting so many comments about screen glare not being a problem. I have over 6000 miles on my Model 3 and I can tell you, screen glare is definitely a problem. For me at least. Try driving west when the sun is rising behind you, or east with the sun going down. The screen washes...
