Storm Watch Sacramento Valley 9/9/21

Weather app showing spotty light rain to spots of heavy rain in mostly northern SF Bay area now. See it rolling north through Sacramento area. Hopefully no lightning. Light rain where we are at and our cars are wet (not enough to wash the dirt off ). Dark Sky app showing a break and then some more later tonight coming from the south. Didn't think there was any moisture in the air earlier but my husband grabbed this photo showing there was.

Now if only we can get lucky and get some nice gentle rain to clean the air from the wildfire smoke. Actually Dark Sky radar is showing Oregon and the Southwest of U.S. sharing in this weather pattern we’re in now.

My wife just landed at SMF and they are held away from the gates due to lighting strikes. There is a little drizzle here in Roseville but I can see the stars.

East Bay--Storm Watch went on yesterday. Red Flag warnings. Overnight we had lightning & thunder as close as 10 miles, plus brief intense downpours (we have a WeatherFlow Tempest weather station on site). So very appropriate. Storm Watch cancelled mid day and Tesla app shows it now OFF. All good.
