I live in Florida and don't like sunroofs, glass roofs or anything similar. I prefer to have a sealed plain roof.
First, I tried Tesla's roof shade and it just gives you a little more shade, but you feel the same heat over your head.
Then, I tried RPM Tesla's shade with blockout screen and holding magnet. I it basically the same Tesla shade with an additional reflective layer on top. While the shade and heat rejection was good, the extra weight of the reflective layer makes the whole thing sag a lot and the magnet is not strong enough. The overall fit was not good.
Lastly, I tinted the roof with Xpel XR Plus 50% and I still feel the same heat over my head.
Has anybody come up with a better solution?.
