Depends on need. In Dublin, they are putting one at the Target across the highway from the 20 operational stands at the Outlet Mall. That will provide 32 stands within 1/4 mile. And 6 Supercharger locations in a 15 mile radius of the 580-680 junction
It would be nice to see a Supercharger in Alpine. Maybe at the Viejas Outlet Center. It’s right off the freeway with plenty to do while charging.
I agree, CRBaker! That's a very long stretch of the 8 freeway in mountainous terrain that has zero Superchargers -- especially for driving further east from San Diego. No Superchargers until you get all the way out to El Centro, CA!
The Viejas Outlet Center is a good idea. Other options in that area would be in Alpine itself (there are a couple of strip malls off the freeway) or in Campo, CA (Golden Acorn travel center / casino).
