This might be a feature of differentiating mega chargers (v4?) over previous iterations going forward.
Perhaps but I'd kinda feel like a dick taking up a mega charger from someone with my 2 bike rack and my gimped charge speed P85D when all I needed was a simple v3 pull in spot.

When I drove by over the weekend, they had just started concrete work for Buc-ee's, so we are a few months away on the supercharger possibly.

This past weekend I saw them putting up the fuel island canopy supports. Ground moving appears to be mostly complete for the parking lots and building.
Groundbreaking for Buc-ee’s store was June of 2022. It usually takes at least a year for a store to be completed. I think they are saying late 2023 opening at the earliest.

By the way, this won’t be the biggest store when opened. The Kodak TN is the same size and already open. The one already under construction near Luling TX is slightly bigger and should also be open early next year.

Generally the Buc-ee’s superchargers go in near the end of construction of a new store - after the parking lot is poured, before landscaping is completed. They typically use pre-fab V3 4 charger units so installation is very quick.
I hope they correct the drawing because right now the position of the chargers is on the wrong side of each parking spot rendering the bottom charger inaccessible.

Another article today from Denver channel 9 says this may open in 2024 - A year into construction, here's how Colorado's first Buc-ee's is coming along
I read where Buc-ee's plans to partner with Mercedes-Benz/ChargePoint at 30 of their 46 sites. Any word on such a charge hub at Johnstown?
