I had heard rumor of this over a year ago. 4095 Telegraph Road, Ventura CA 93003. The contractor tells me it is 12 x 250 kW units.

I suppose that to eat at Denny's would be the right thing to do, but then again, the very best Mexican food in all of Ventura is a 1 minute walk up Ashwood to La Parrilla. Fast service, budget prices, and exceptional food quality.

Here's something rarely seen at Superchargers. An actual trash bin and recycling bin.

What's more, look how they placed that one charger into the parking lot so as not to cut down the tree!

That was quick! It looks like we are only waiting for the SCE transformer to be installed.

I drove by the chargers today. Still no SCE transformer. But there were electricians there that had every stall unit opened and they were messing with the wiring. At forst I though maybe they were adding the CCS conversion but nope. Not that. I asked one of the guys he said "we are not allowed to talk to anyone". There is a large long arm fork lift on site, so maybe the SCE transformer is to arrive soon.

Yesterday they put down new blacktop and today painted the lines. Still waiting for the transformer from SCE.

Drove by today (6/13/2023) still needs a transformer. Behind a Denny’s and half a block from a Foster’s Freeze. A very good Yucatán Mexican cuisine restaurant is across the street along with a CVS pharmacy. Will be a great asset for Ventura and surrounding area.

Nice! Looks like SCE must have quite the backlog if they’re using contract crews for transformer installation.

According to a fellow on site, an SCE contractor, they delivered and installed the 1,000.0 KVA transformer for the new Ventura Supercharger on Telegraph / Ashwood.
Next week they are to pull the new conductors from the power pole on Thompson to the transformer.
