So I see these superchargers every morning, and they are still not operational. I really don’t understand why. Meter is in, everything looks done. They are still roped off with cones in front and no power. What’s especially bad is landscapers, trucks, tractor trailers, etc all park in front of them every morning because they are not powered on. It’s mind blowing that they have been ready to go for a month and morning has happened

I’m trying not to generalize, but SCs in the states of NJ and NY seem to be exceptionally slow at becoming operational once built/installed. I have seen many sites in the last 24 months in PA take as few as 6 weeks to go operational from installation.

I can’t help but imagine that layoffs of the SC team has impacted this even further. The Somers Point, NJ site was turned on 1-2 weeks ago, but it took over a week to go live on Tesla’s website, and has yet to go live on the app. Whereas before, I think it generally took only a day or two for other site activations.

I think the newest site in Manahawkin, NJ took nearly 3-4 weeks to go live on the Tesla website and app, for example.

I know what you mean. That Manahawkin site has been operational for a month or more. Myself and many others have used it many times. It only just appeared in the mapping and official list.

That's what confirming means. Sites can be a bit flaky in the first few days, so several reports helps confirm stability.

Ok cool, well I can confirm your confirmation that it’s still functioning. I charged there again today. Confirmation confirmed.
