The latest update I heard is that construction will supposedly begin this summer.

I don’t have any specifics, but I can say that I would hope they get it operational by Memorial Day weekend. These can take anywhere from days/weeks to months to complete, or even longer than a year, depending on approvals and coordinating the different work involved.

Makes sense, considering Tesla Find My lists a new SC location opening soon in 2024 in Mt. Laurel Township, and it also lists it as having CCS compatibility.

No, Ericy is correct. I can confirm that this morning, Tesla’s site showed this site as open to other EVs without NACS. But it seemed to have disappeared mid-day, either due to an error or some other issue.

Now with magic docks, as of this week.

I didn’t have my insurance in the app either. I won’t have it uploaded until Monday when my agent can work on it. I think it may be random based on the dealer you’re picking it up at. I noticed that we have had consistent delivery day estimates, even though we’re in different states on the East...

I got the same update, then one day later was prompted to schedule delivery for as soon as March 2nd (that happened this morning.)

Just got a text to schedule delivery in Philly area. Earliest available is 3/2 based on when car will be available. Will update Google Sheets.

I got the same dates today for Pennsylvania. I wonder if that means our cars arrived in Birmingham off the rail, and are now being trucked to our local hubs.

Got another update in Philly area. Went from 3/2-3/9 to 2/26-3/6. Got VIN last weekend.

I’ve done a handful of demo drives with Tesla, and I was always by myself - no employee or advisor came along.

I ordered 1/20 and got a 2/13-3/12 estimated delivery range last weekend. My sales advisor says I should get a VIN this week, with delivery estimated to happen on Leap Day (which is pretty cool.) Obviously, anything can change between now and then. RWD, stealth grey, black interior, photon...

My local dealers are apparently short-staffed and unable to answer my question until later in the week. If Person A is on a Tesla lease, can Person A and Person B be listed on the car insurance policy in Pennsylvania? From my research, the answer is yes, but I want to pulse the crowd on this...

I read online it may be because Canada is getting builds from Shanghai, where the US is getting them from California. But I could be entirely wrong.

They’re somehow getting them to the East Coast. Brooklyn, NY just got a demo, as well as Devon, PA outside of Philadelphia. Paramus, NJ got it on Wednesday.

Has anyone that ordered around January 21 seen an update to their delivery? I’m still showing Feb-Mar for a RWD.

It’s beautiful - I love the Ultra Red. But I chose not to get it as I suspect I may get sick of it after not long.

I test drove the new model three in Paramus New Jersey yesterday. It was a stealth gray RWD with a black interior and photon wheels. I was amazed at how quiet and smooth it was compared to my 2018 long range. Here are some of the photos that I took. Feel free to ask any questions.

so far, I think demos are only available in SF, LA, Seattle, and New jersey.

I hear the frustration. It sucks that this part of Brooklyn is a charging desert.

WIthout looking at the details of the permit and approval of this site, it is possible that Tesla was required to put in Magic Docks in order to proceed. It is easy to assume that Tesla is at fault here for not adding more capacity to this station or putting in Magic Docks when it probably...

It’s not heavily traveled by Tesla drivers, so it is plausible that no one tracked its permit or construction until it went online.

And they also implemented new pricing today for different times of the day.

According to Tesla and the app, it is not live yet, though it may just be waiting for final activation upon approval. Unless it was just turned on minutes ago.

Everything in the Philly metro seems to turn over quicker - the ones in Pottstown went from construction to open in 7 weeks, and similar to the 16 stalls open this week at a Wawa in Philly off Aramingo Ave. Must be utility companies holding it up. Hopefully in early September.
