For lower noise, just shop tires with good rating in quietness. Keeping the pressure little lower also makes the ride quieter and smoother (but more floaty).
Wider ones may be helpful if traction is a concern, but 245->255 of the same tire will be below sensible difference.

With those bigger tires, you'd get 1.234567% less wheel revs per mile.

Wouldn't it be nice, if that would get you 1.234567% more range?

Too bad they are wider - the aerodynamics would likely eat-up any gain.

If lower motor rpm would have helped efficiency they would have used a slightly different gearbox ratio. People with ICE often fixate on lugging the engine in the false belief lower rpm is efficiency because going faster is less efficient. Well going faster is less efficient because of aero losses, it isn't rpm ICE or electric.

Added chassis height and tire width would both have some negative efficiency effect.

The suggestions about researching quiet tires and lowering pressure are spot on Tire Rack has a good reviews feature that will help. Lower pressure within reason may impact efficiency and wear out the tire a little faster.
