Does this use a cigarette lighter type of power source or does it tap off some other light? That’s one thing I miss from my BMW, the orange red ambient lighting.

Can someone post a link to interior ambient light swaps (esp. footwell lights) that definitely work with 2023 MY? I think they changed the LEDs recently and I’ve seen posts that say many kits no longer fit.

It get power from rear plug. No need to tape on any wire. It it plug n play. I will post the video of how to installation video on youtube channel soon.
