Tesla and Gallium Nitride (GaN)

I've been seeing more articles about Gallium Nitride (GaN) chargers and how much more efficient and smaller they are compared with traditional silicon based charging tech. Here is an example:

I've been thinking about Tesla and GaN tech in upcoming products. Anyone have any knowledge or thoughts about the use of GaN in current or upcoming Tesla products (EVs, Superchargers, Powerwall/pack, solar, etc.)?

I’m not an electrical engineer, but I think there’s potential to use GaN to replace the silicon carbide FETs in the motor inverters, solar inverters, and chargers for a few extra % efficiency.
