Tesla app always shows that my car is unlock

Does anyone have this issue? My car is locked but app shows that little lock is "open"?

A few times I noticed in the app my car was unlocked, so I locked it from the app. Then I took notice and realized that the car wasn't auto locking when I walked away. The auto lock feature was not set. I noticed this after a software update maybe the update reverted it bk to the default setting.
