Tesla APP on iPhone won’t connect to vehicle

Just downloaded 2020.24.6.4

the app registers the Y’s name, and it’s connected on the Tesla screen, but just get the spinning wheel on the app. The name of the Tesla and the treasure chest show, but that’s all. Any thoughts?

Always worth a shot to reboot the car's computer. Hold down both scroll wheels on the steering wheel until the screens goes black. It will restart on its own. If that doesn't work, restart your phone or redownload the app.

If rebooting the car doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall the app. Yes, a PIA because you have to set up BT keys again, but I've found that effective for situations where the app and car aren't connecting and there isn't a widespread outage.

Same problem yesterday, I had used the app to lower the 105 degree temperature in the car as it charged and got that error. After letting the car charge I got in, found the phone-car bluetooth interface worked but not the internet connection. Two-button restart fixed it.

I got this type of error after i updated to 24.6.4. The app would not connect. I rebooted both the car and the phone and everything was fixed.
