Tesla app not connecting to car while at home

I have noticed something weird with the latest Tesla update for my 2021M3SR+ which is 2024.2.2.1. The tesla app does not connect to the car while I am parked at home. The connection circle keeps spinning next to the "Last seen..." part but does not connect to the car and I cannot use any of the commands from my app. For example, if I try to turn on the heater in the car, it simply says command timed out. HOWEVER, it connects to the app fine when I am at work or parked literally anywhere else that is not my home. I have tried using 5G and wifi and tried reinstalling the app but I am running into the same issue. Not sure what it is. Any help?

My last thought is bad network connection, whether cellular or WiFi. I have seen this with my car in the garage, if the wifi signal is weak I have trouble connecting.

Had that on 2033.44.30.x , but car seems to be waking up and reporting better on 2024.2.2.1 the past 24 hours. Home Assistant integration is still failing to update data intermittently though, even when the car is awake and sending data to the app.

Do you have poor cell coverage at home? We do, and we occasionally have this problem.

If you wait a long to time, like 30 minutes, does it connect?

If WiFi, what address range are you using in your network?

2024.2.3 fixed it for me.
2024.2.2 broke wake from sleep on my car.
