All models reduced in price except the Model Y.

I was just getting ready to trade in my Model 3 for a Model Y. I'll wait a bit now, they will have to lower the price or people will bail on their orders.

Tesla has reduced the price of the Model 3, Model S, and Model X in North America, Electrek reports. The Model S and X both saw $5,000 price cuts to $74,990 and $79,990 respectively for their entry-level Long Range Plus versions, while their more expensive Performance versions have also been cut by $5k. The Model 3 has received a smaller $2,000 price cut across all versions, with the online entry-level Standard Range Plus Model 3 now starting at $37,990. Pricing for the Model Y, Tesla’s newest car, is unchanged.

$5000 buys a lot of supercharging (~16,000 KWh). I wouldn't mind the trade off. It also reinforces my decision to lease the X last year. Too many price drops and technology advances to buy the car outright.

Being "aggressive" on lease prices is just a way for automobile manufacturers to hide discounts.

Better they simply cut the price, and the lease rate will also fall, but without penalizing people who'd rather buy than lease.

Just a thought for the thread going forward. Just more work for a moderator to move to the correct threads. Pretty sure they are all volunteers.

Understand your issue, but think you will generate more conversation outside of used vehicle sales forum which this is.
