LR RWD has gone from $49,000 since I purchased it in August to $43,000. Even with the extra $3750 tax credit, it’s $2,250 cheaper than what I paid for it.
The price of early adaptation I guess!
People out there getting this car for $35k are getting a steal.
Not likely noticeable. I'd guesstimate, at best, a 0.1 reduction in 0 to 60.
So, I have to arrange a loan, complete the transaction, and then return the car if I don't like the way it suits me? And then go through all the trouble to get the money back and pay off the loan I just got?
I can't believe they are serious about this.
Website even says you can rent one for a roadtrip this way, if you wanted. What on earth.
My cars value has been dropping $2k a month in price drops alone, much faster than I can pay it off! They've done 2 huge price drops within 6 months before? Hmm. Don't recall seeing that.
The reason I think they will need to issue refunds is this might be a limitation of EAP2.5 hardware.I can't imagine they'll take anything away without a refund.

You can get the loan direct from Tesla so it is hassle free.
I rather have $2500 in my pocket.
It's been 8 months since you took delivery. Prices change!
I didn't turn in my FSD for $5k and kept my free supercharging.
Now the price of my car dropped again.
I'm going to be supercharging like no one has ever seen.

You can probably still ask for the 5K refund if you really want. The price just dropped $2K.

I don't see that anywhere.
Gotta find a way to fill some batteries and bring them home to cover that! Also consider charging all your phone while supercharging!
Great Ideas.
Maybe I can hook up a hot plate and make toast for anyone with me at the superchargers.
Dang it, I was about to suggest an electric barbecue to be held at the next supercharging station.
Sorta true for some not for others. I took Delivery in October, got my car back from service in mid November. Paid 79500 after tax, and that did not include FSD. It seems we might be better off selling them at a 20-30% loss than suffering a $2k price drop every month. It's been 8 months since you took delivery. Prices change!
haha i know right. FFS guys.. it's $2,000. Possibly less considering how much you've saved on gas, plus the fact that you've had the damn car for 6 months. So your "early adopter fee" is approximately $2,000.....You can probably still ask for the 5K refund if you really want. The price just dropped $2K.
Yes!!!!!!!!
keep it comin.
