I am selling it for someone else and took pics at my work since it was the best lighting. I believe it does need to be installed by a tech.

Adding just the hardware does not enable the full self driving features. You will still need to buy the fsd package for 8k to use any of the features. For 1k, just to see the visualizations, it's not really worth it.

When you purchase fsd and have 2.5 hw, you get upgraded to a guaranteed working 3.0 hw regardless
