Did they limit your time there? When I was at Standford mall last week they gave everyone like 2 minutes each. Had to stand in line for about 35 minutes so the ratio of wait to car time was kind of poor.

But it was still fun to sit in it for a minute or two.

Good grief at 2 minutes. If I had to do any kind of traveling just to grovel in a line with only a 2-minute "tour, " I'm not sure I'd bother. Being fairly distant from any stores (2 hours being the closest), this is looking to be a blind buy.

I agree, but hopefully as more M3 are on display, they will let us look at it more. Fortunately we are very close so I did not mind.

I'm sure after a few weeks the lines will be more reasonable especially if you can go at an "off hour" or day and get a chance to spend more time in it and with the staff. We waited at Stanford when my husband had Friday off but were limited to a few minutes. Of course you really don't get to experience much in the limited time you get. Could have gone through the line again but had better things to do with our time. But will return when the timing is better. I do feel for people who don't live close by. Another option if you have a Supercharger in your area is to drive by occasionally and hopefully see one there. Most owners of Teslas are more than happy to chat, give you a look and answer questions if they have the time.

OK I just have to ask how you got the shot looking down on the rear window? Did you bring a ladder or something? :)

I wonder what the line was like today (my wife and I went in the early afternoon yesterday and the line was like what you showed or maybe a bit shorter). When we were there, there were Tesla people to talk to while we were waiting, especially in the area of the trunk, so the time (20-ish minutes) passed pretty quickly.

Bruce.
