Tesla has added a unique “secret level” prize to its referral program – a chance to drive The Boring Company’s electric boring machine.
The referral program has has previously offered rewards such as discounts on a next generation Tesla Roadster, the chance to attend Tesla events like the semi truck unveiling, a free Powerpack, and a fresh set of wheels.
The Boring Company aims to dig a network of underground tunnels for travel that will circumvent traffic on above-ground roadways. The company is currently digging in the Los Angeles area. Elon Musk has previously said he plans to build a tunnel that would run from LAX to Culver City, Santa Monica, Westwood, and Sherman Oaks, with later tunnels covering more of the greater LA area.
