I don't want it to sound like a gas engine more like a fighter jet

I am more Simon and Garfunkel - I prefer the sound of silence.

Talk softly...and carry a big stick.

    Actions speak louder than...sounds

A subtle whine is all that is necessary.

Actually there's already a few apps on your phone that do this. They play the sound of muscle car engines out over Bluetooth in your car. Some apps use GPS to gauge the speed increase. I think there was another app that paired with a 12V charger and could somewhat accurately sense voltage drops when the engine would increase in power (I don't recall the exact details of that one but I know there's a video on YouTube of it).

One of the things I don't miss is the loud engine roar. It was only cool at age 18.

I don't know man. I still love the sound of a vette's engine with custom exhaust. I'll never own one though simply bc I'll never go back to paying for gas ever again.
