Interesting discussion so far ... I guess you have to look at it from Elon's perspective: A man who likes to do the impossible, has the enthusiasm of a 7yr old in terms of restraining himself, likes shock and awe communications. Releasing a concept drawing of Model 3 is something he would do at this event ... if it were available.
BTW, it would not be a simple 2 D drawing it would be a 3 D holographic light show....can't wait!
Update: Elon leaked more info today hinting at a bigger pack and 0-60 under 3 sec.
