Just reading the tea leaves:
- Musk raising another $5B
- Musk moving to Texas
- Musk fighting the Alameda county COVID restrictions earlier this year
- Several Valley companies moving out of CA
- multiple CA pro-business propositions failed in the election
Just a guess, but is Musk now thinking of pulling out of CA, at least with Tesla? He really liked Tulsa as an alternate site for the Cybertruck factory. Could he be considering building another factory there, and selling the Fremont one? Then they can use "real" paint on the cars too!
