Texas Lege trying to pass new taxes on EVs and Hybrids

So, did we luck out this session? I'm guessing cause of the Voting Bill walkout they didn't end up passing this. And I know there's a special session coming, but would this be considered a priority item?

Fingers crossed for 2 more years of no EV taxes!

There was no vote held, but not because of SB 7 (the voting integrity / voter suppression bill), but because of SB 29 (the anti-trans / athletic integrity bill).

Unless it's called as a topic of a special session. I personally don't think it's a big enough issue, but who knows.
