The benefits are real but not for investment purposes.

The benefits for me were very real when you calculate the cost of the Xpel versus the cost of repainting the left front fender and the front bumper. The front bumper is not that difficult to remove so it would probably be removed to be painted. However, the left front fender is not cheap nor easy to remove, so it would probably need to be masked off and painted on the car.
And I guarantee the new painted parts will not 100% match the original.

So I think the Xpel was a great investment. And think how much nicer your paint will look when you go to sell the car if it's been protected by Xpel, which has a 10 year warranty.
