Heylo,
So I have had my Model 3 for a week now and I had been saving for years in order to afford the car in the first place. So if you’re like me, you surely weren’t ready to spend another $85 for the simple mats on Amazon, $145 for Tesla Mats, or $200+ for the MaxPider mats or similar. Also, Colorado winter is quickly approaching, so I just decided to make my own.
I got all of the parts from Home Depot. Everything in total was $20 and that’s a price I was willing to pay for now. I got a $15 24” x 120” roll of Traffic Master All Purpose Modular Flooring, and two packs of 12 Velcro Squares.
The only other items you’ll need are a sharpie or other marker to trace the shape of your cloth formats, and a pair of scissors. Pretty self-explanatory process.
Just wanted to post this for others just in case they are in a similar situation.
Okey doke.
