The Wave

Growing up, when you could tell the county of oncoming cars by their license plates, we would wave and see who waves back. The drivers from rural mountain counties always did. The drivers from the Denver area sometimes did. The drivers from California and Texas never did.

Now no one does......except if I am driving my Wrangler, other Wrangler drivers always do. It’s a Jeep thing - you wouldn’t understand. I also always get waved to when I am on my motorcycle by other cyclists.

So why do Tesla owners rarely wave back when I am driving my X? Isn’t there a Tesla thing at least as powerful as a Jeep thing? Come on guys.

We used to do that with any sports car long ago.

More recently, when there were fewer Teslas, I did wave. But now it's like waving at every Toyota you see. I need to pay some attention to driving.
