THEY LOST MY MODEL 3!!!!!

Wow! So they are going to have you drive 40 miles to pick up a car, which probably hasn't been detailed at all. I'd probably do it though for the tax credit. Hopefully they will still clean the car up for you.
I am not expecting car to be detailed

I am going to take my vin, walk around the lot and find my car .

I am not complaining about driving 40 miles to pickup instead of promised home delivery

My complaints are:
They are not keeping their commitments
They are rude on the phone
They are being rude in person

I am being very nice and polite and professional with them.

Hi,

I ended up getting my model 3 today (with a cracked rear windshield, loose door, and some paint job mistakes). They were giving me the run around for the past two weeks. I ended up going in yesterday and demanded to speak with the manager - told him, I am not leaving here without my car. He found another car that fit my order and changed my VIN and asked me to pick up my car today. I went in to pick up my car and they found my old car... So they ended up changing the vin again (it took me another 2-3 hours to change to vin on all my paperwork). finally driving home with my new car and I am already loving it!! Also still worried about the paint job and the rear windshield that are still pending...

My point is... Just go there and refuse to leave until they find you our car or a similar car.
That’s what I did

Once I told them I demand they find my car - that’s when they changed their tune from “come in Saturday,” to “well we have 31 cars sitting in a Parking’s lot far away”

Will know in the morning ....

I'm sorry you have to go through this to get your car and I hope you can easily find it. Stay positive and I'm praying for you !! Tesla needs to compensate you some how for this fiasco.

Please let us know how it goes.
Thank you for the well wishes and kind words

Compensation ? I would hope so, but at this rate, god knows if they even let me in the parking lot - treating me as poorly as they have been :(

If I treated my patients the way they treated me - I would be unemployed

You can watch this while waiting:

Hopefully they get you sorted out right away.

This is Brittany in Raleigh. Without being politically incorrect, if you can picture a DMV employee in Inglewood, CA, that is how MY Brittany is. Same attitude, same looks.

Brittany at Marina is world's different ;)
Racist much? Oh wait, North Carolina resident, figures.
I am being very nice and polite and professional with them.
Nice and polite and professional, North Carolina style. It would be interesting to hear what the Tesla employees you have dealt with would characterize your attitude.

It is end of the year/tax credit chaos, deal with it or cancel your order.

Be happy to give you the name and number of all the people I dealt with in Pasadena and in Raleigh. I have publicly put their names here, go ahead and use your phone and call them yourself to check, sir.

I am not a NC resident.

UPDATE:
Been at the office for about 37 minutes. Can't call it an office. Its a parking lot with security. There are 9 people ahead of me. Its a zoo. Waiting patiently.
Keep word. Patience. With a side of reflection.

Because realistically 2019 is going to be a wild ride and you’ll want to be on Auto Pilot screaming at the top of your lungs, hands in the air and everything. Well, actually you would need an S with a pano roof to have your hands in the air.

A little trick that the delivery people do is to take your fob or cell phone and trigger the horn to blow or lights to flash to be sure that among all the look alike cars, you get the right one.

When I picked up my X in Fremont almost a year ago, they put us on a little tram and did a factory tour, while the delivery specialist would do all out paperwork and give the car a final look over. Now things are a bit hectic and it is not unusual for a group of people waiting for their casr to be brought around. Busy-busy.

Helping a friend pick up her Model 3 next week. Understand that their delivery center is handling over a hundred cars a day.

I have 31 cars at my parking lot 40 miles away. I don't even have a way to get them to our delivery center here. If you are willing to go to that parking lot, we have located your car, we have a security guy there, you can pick it up.

Sounds like you are at the right place. Very close now, Hang in there!!

I hope your pickup goes well. Will be checking back. Interesting to hear how many people are willing to show up early to get their cars. I do hope you enjoy your car once you get it. Looks like you have a twin to mine and I can't wait to get mine back from PPF this weekend and be driving it again.
