This is the 3rd time AC auto turn on, model X.

It has been 3 occasions in the last 3 days that AC automatically turns on when parked in the garage. I had to use the app to turn it off.

Does anyone know why AC automatically turn on without anyone in the van? How do I turn this automation off?

How hot is it? The car will dip into the AC to keep the cabin under the 105F threshold in really hot environments.

The other obvious candidate is smart preconditioning, which uses your history to guess when you'll drive the car next and triggers the HVAC to condition the cabin shortly before that.

You can turn that on or off in the center console settings.

The red sign might be Sentry mode enabled. Take a picture?

Check "Cabin Overheat Protection" setting. It will turn on AC at about 105 F internal car temperature
to avoid damage to cargo...

You could have brought much heat into the garage with you...
The battery is a very large heat sink. The vehicle has a lot of heat carrying capacity...
