This travel weather app is helpful

I have been using an app for road trip weather for a while now, and recent improvements make it really helpful for Tesla travel. It now will give a map of your route with predicted winds displayed all the way, throughout the day. You can enter your route and starting date and time (up to 5 days out).

Weather on Wheels is the app, available for IOS and Android (as all apps should be).

I've always wondered why Waze and Google maps don't have the option to overlay weather data. Especially rain so you know in advance to pull over and put a convertible top up for instance. I've downloaded your suggestion and will give it a try. Thanks.

I too tied it... nice overlay. Even works on the Tesla clunky browser. Thanks for the heads up....
