Yes, this is the infamous "low-hanging fruit" that I have always wondered why Elon never took advantage of.
EV's require almost nothing in maintenance, SO WHY NOT OFFER FREE MAINTENANCE FOR 4 OR 5 YEARS?!?
The marketing boost from that alone is huge, and the cost to Tesla is very, very low . . . yet they never did it.

Yes, in addition to the zero down, zero percent loans out to 60 months as add’l demand levers.
Now if Elon offered that, his cars would fly off the production line.
