Thumping nose front end

This odd sound happened today while I was supercharging. The sound was felt at my left foot driver side. There is a regulator switch at that wall for the coolant pump. Not sure if that's what this sound is. There car was not hit because I was driving for a while on the throughway at 75mph and outside temp was 25F.

I tried getting out and pin point the sound but it shut off when I got out and closed the door. It seems when the car shut down it stopped.

I assume the pump would keep going until pack reach nominal temperature.
