To Storm Trooper or Not to Storm Trooper

Picking up a new, white MX LR tomorrow. Have some black Martian wheels coming and have an appointment to tint the windows and chrome delete. Car is mostly for my wife/nanny to move kids around. I've always disliked chrome trim, but given the use case, am I going nuts chrome-deleting?

Having some second thoughts and looking for what you all think about the storm trooper look on the MX.

I'm in the same pickle. I love the stormtrooper look, but I'm also trying to not throw money away...chrome delete $2k, powder coating of stock wheels another grand. But it would look sooo cool. It's Christmas, I've been a mostly good boy this year

I initially liked the storm trooper look on white Tesla’s. It’s grown stale to me now. It’s totally a personal choice.

I am enjoying the anonymity of this thing. Yes when you get close it’s a Tesla but from 20 yards, just another white people mover with chrome trim and silver wheels

That's not to criticize the white/black look at all, it looks particularly good on the Model X IMO with the dark plastic lower cladding everywhere and the black roof.

I went for the Stormtrooper look this week and picked up my car yesterday. It's a big difference. They did a great job and I'm very happy with the result.

You can always add red accents if you want to move away from the complete white with black trim look. I have completely changed the color of my S, but I just did a chrome delete for her with liquid vinyl. Much cheaper than vinyl wrap. She wants the red accents. The front "T" could use it. It's a bit hidden when everything is black. Don't mind the daddy long legs photo bombing the picture.
