As a new Tesla owner, I am always keen to learn new things. last night was no exception. The keynote speaker was Kent Rathwell, founder of Sun Country Highway EV chargers. First of all, his "story" about how this all came about, was the stuff that movies and legends are about. Secondly, he may be one of the most knowledgable Tesla owners on the planet, with regards to weather conditions, driving, etc.
What I took away from this was to charge up to 80% daily versus my usual 70%. Ya, ya, I know this is quite subjective. I also realize that even while my car is in an underground heated garage, I should still precondition before driving out. Oh ya and this easy one - lead foot doesn't help with range, LOL.
Lots of knowledge and terrific anecdotes. If you’re not a member of TOCO (Tesla Owners Cub of Ontario), I highly recommend.
