Top replacement “glass”

Had glass located over driver replaced due to chip. Normally, car overnights in garage, recently been outside. Observed droplets of water adhering to new pane and not to original. Reminds me of plastic “glasses” coming out of dishwasher. There is no wax or other obvious cause. Any idea what might explain this?

Who replaced the glass? What replacement was used? Is it OEM glass, or third party? What year/model car?
