TPMS Censors

Hi all. I recently put a pair of loaner 19” Gemini wheels on my 2023 model Y LR. The tire shop had me put on my original set of tpms censors on the loaner set although they already had oem censors on them. My questions is did the tpms censors that came on the car need to be changed over to the loaner set of wheels or would the car reset and detected the new tpms censors on the new wheels?

All Model Y's have Bluetooth TPMS and the car would have detected and configured the new "s"ensors. Perhaps the shop was playing it safe since S, 3, and X used to have RF sensors but now use Bluetooth.
