Trade in price upon purchase different from online quote

please try carvana. They offered so much higher than anyone else for us. Tesla will not price match them but they literally come to your house and take the car from you.

I second this... They were so easy to deal with, I made an extra 30% on my sale by going through them when I got my M3 and the whole process was so simple.

Sorry to resurrect this thread. I currently have an order in for a M3. I plan on trading in my vehicle. In my tesla account, tesla has a trade-in value at $13,995 without even seeing the car (not pictures or on-site inspection) and Carmax gave me an offer for $18k yesterday. That's a pretty big difference. Does Tesla look at trade-ins before finalizing their offer? I haven't brought the Carmax quote to the table yet in hopes Tesla comes in higher. Seems odd to me they can give a number without looking at something...

They're not going to look at it, your best bet is to give them the Carmax quote to raise the offer.
