Hi Does anyone know if your order is held until you agree or disagree with the trade in ?

Your order isnt held, but it is pushed back in the queue until you make a decision. Meaning you will still get a vin assigned eventually, but most likely people who ordered after you (who completed all their mile markers) will get a vin and take delivery before you

I made that mistake and held on to the offer because I did not like it. I was told by my tesla advisor to take the offer and click on submit and I can change the tradein later if I get something better from carmax. Also, the trade-in is valid only for 30days, if after 30days your car is valued for less they will take the number that is lesser. My tradein lost 1k by 2 days.
