The Issue
One of the reasons most people like Android Auto or Apple CarPlay is their ability to use Waze while driving to know the road conditions before they get there including animals in the road, fog, car stopped in or on the side of the road, police activity, etc.
My Suggestion
Teslas are everywhere you look and Tesla profits from the information it gleans from all those vehicles driving around the place. My suggestion is using the same to the benefit of all Tesla drivers. We should be able to report road conditions just like we can in Waze. We can even use this to earn other Tesla drivers of dead chargers, etc.
Safety Issues
The screen is larger than most phone screens, so this makes reporting and viewing those reporting icons safe. We can also use the voice button to make those reports which makes it even easier. Others’ reports can be read over the speakers which makes it even safer.
The Result
This will foster an even deeper sense of community because Tesla drivers will be helping other Tesla drivers; and finally this will give non Tesla owners yet another reason to buy a Tesla. Let’s do this Tesla!
