Tricky to Unplug since latest update

Anyone else experience that the 3 will not release the charging cable until the car is "woken up"? Usually that means opening a door before removing the cable. Kind of annoying, especially when I have to step over the cord to get to the door and then walk back to the cord to unplug.

Just wondering if others experience a similar issue.

Darn, I was hoping mine had a bug. Hope they fix this.

press the trunk release once, it will wake the car up. A second press will actually open the trunk.

Yes and I did what flashflooder suggested. I press the trunk release once to wake the car and then unplugged the charger.
